How can we use indicators more powerfully and how to avoid the confirmation bias that indicators can give us. Do indicators work with trading? This is a FTSE 100 chart but could be anything. The point is that many of us use indicators to some degree. I'm not a huge fan of indicators although I do use them under certain conditions. I prefer clean charts most of the time. My tip here might help you with the way you look at the markets. I feel that sometimes we are drawn to one or more indicator values and we are anchored to that; we are not looking beyond that. If you remove absolutely everything, it can change your perspective on what's happening. You will definitely be able to see key levels more clearly and it kind of gives you a new perspective of things. So you will look into things more deeply and push you to research things more. OK.
